Tax deductible donations to The Alpha Delta Gamma Foundation are the sole financial resource that the organization has. It allows The Foundation to operate and accomplish goals year after year.
Inbound Funds & Outbound Funds
Inbound Funds
As a donor, you are entitled to specify the exact causes you’d like your gift to be used awarded toward: a specific active, a specific Chapter, or specific events in which an active, alum, or Chapter may need assistance for. Specificity is not required, however, and donations to the general Foundation operating fund are greatly appreciated.
As a 501(c) 3 organization, your donation is tax deductible if you itemize.
Outbound Funds
Awards from The Foundation, however, must be within state and federal tax laws governing a 501(c)3 organization.
Some of the ways your donation is used include, but is not limited to, the following:
- Active & Alumni Chapter Community Service Programs
- The ADGF Scholarship awarded each year to one deserving active.
- A convention financial assistance program.
- National Conventions & Conferences including professional & alumni speakers and presenters.
- National Retreats
- Active Chapter Education Assistance Program
- National publications including The Alphadelity, Mark of Honor books, ADG History books, and assistance for other marketing tools.
- Room & Travel Assistance for Foundation Directors & Advisors where applicable.
- Social Media, Website Maintenance and ADG/ADGF Video Conference capabilities
- (FUTURE STATE) Educational Videos regarding either ADG-centered or Professional topics; from Candidate Education to “Your First Job Interview”.

Alpha Delta Gamma National Fraternity Founding Fathers Francis P. Canary, John J. Dwyer, William S. Hallisey and James C. O’Brien were on Chicago’s “L” (the elevated railway) when they first conceived the idea of establishing a new fraternity, unique in its ideas and aims.
